The issue of Congress president's foreign origin was not a personal attack on her but a matter related to the country's leadership and development, Dy PM Advani said.
Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani on Saturday said raking up the foreign origin issue of Congress President Sonia Gandhi should not be construed as a personal attack on her.
"I do not think that raking up the foreign origin issue of Sonia Gandhi is a personal attack against her," he said while answering a question at a press conference at Thiruvananthapuram.
The foreign issue was a matter related to leadership of the country and development of the nation depends upon the leadership, he said.
Asked about Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's remarks against Gandhi during the campaign, Advani said every one had his own style.
