Addressing a press conference on late Wednesday, Azami said that the Congress-led UPA government had made it clear that it would minutely check if industrialists would come closer to the Samajwadi Party.

“What does it mean?, It means Congress is against any industrialist to invest in UP”, Azami said and blamed Congress for dispute between the two Ambani brothers.

Criticising the Congress-led UPA government for resorting to politics of vendetta against its adversaries, Azami said that Congress has misused power to harass mega star Amitabh Bachchan by slapping income tax notices on him.

He said Samajwadi Party has set a target of winning 15 assembly seats from entire Maharashtra in the next Assembly election. “If we achieve this target, it will decide the future of the party in Maharashtra”, he asserted.

Coming down heavily on Congress and Shiv Sena for treating badly to the people of north Indian who live in Maharashtra, he said Congress has crossed limit in harassing the people of north India in Maharashtra.
