Spears gears up for Louisiana retreat

The diva believes her lifestyle in Malibu is damaging her and is hence building more rooms in her mom's house.

Singer Britney Spears is reportedly moving back to Louisiana and has been renovating her mother's house so that she can stay there, as she believes her lifestyle in Malibu is damaging her.

According to newsweek.com, the mayor of Spears' hometown Kentwood said: "She wants to come home. She's building more rooms for her growing family. She wants a nursery and some kids' rooms."

Spears is spending $200,000 on her mother's house and is looking out for a second home for her husband Kevin Federline to stay, if his mother-in-law starts troubling him.

A source said: "He likes Lynne, but doesn't like her getting involved in their relationship."
