Special facilities for Simhastha
SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS will be made at Indore, Onkareshwar, Maheshwar and Sanver during the first Simhastha of the 21st century. All public utility facilities will be provided at these places for the pilgrims. These details were reviewed in a meeting presided over by Divisional Commissioner Ram Sajeevan in Indore on Wednesday today. Collector Mohammed Suleman and SP V Madhu Kumar Babu were also present here.

The Commissioner carried out a department-wise review of Simhastha-related work and said that all departments have completed their assigned task in the given time. He said that the officials should ensure that there was adequate food and water facilities at these spots and the government hospitals are equipped to face any untoward incident. The Indore Municipal Corporation has prepared a temporary bus stand for the pilgrims at Chimanbagh while the IDA has prepared a bus stand at Vijay Nagar.
