SPO among 3 arrested with 4 kg heroin in JK

Police arrested three persons, including an SPO, and recovered four kgs of heroin, worth Rs 20 crores in the international market, from them in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said in Jammu on Monday.

On a tip-off, police arrested the trio from Solani bridge area of Rajouri district and recovered from them a bag containing four kgs of heroin on Sunday night, they said.

The trio has been identified as Special Police Officer Bashir Ahmed of Kulgam (south Kashmir), Mohammad Shabir and Mohammad Yaqoob of Rajouri district.
