“I wrote one passage from the Bible and it felt very good. This inscribed Bible will be displayed in front of many people and I am a part of it,” said Sachin (15), who goes by only his first name.
As many as 65 people wrote verses from the holy book in an hour on Sunday.
“More than 357 people inscribed verses on Saturday. We are hoping that around 4,000 people will be part of the project during the fair,” said Isaac Shaw, executive director, Delhi Bible Institute.
Vijay Kumar Jha, 43, also participated.
“I am not a Christian but I wrote a verse as I think it is a nice way to spread the word of God,” he said.
Once the Bible is complete, it will be displayed at the the Bible Bhavan.
