St Joseph?s Co-Ed School students won five medals including two gold medals in the district-level inter-school karate championship organised by World Funakoshi Shotokan Karate Organisation, Bhopal, recently.

St Joseph’s Co-Ed School students won five medals including two gold medals in the district-level inter-school karate championship organised by World Funakoshi Shotokan Karate Organisation, Bhopal, recently.

A total of 20 students participated in the karate championship from the school. Nitin Jodhani, a class XII student of the school, stood first in the open ctageory. Isha D. Lalit won the gold in the 48-52-kg category.

Abhishek C won silver in the 60-65-kg category, while Shobhit Sharma stood second in the 65-70-kg category. Praful Triphati, a class V student, won silver medal in the under-20 category. Principal of the school Fr Maria Stephen, Manager Fr Abraham, Headmistress Sr Mercy, Head Coordinator Sr Julie and the staff members have congratulated the students and the coach Inayat-ur Rehman.
