St Montfort School holds investiture ceremony
THE INVESTITURE ceremony at St Montfort School was held on July 19 with great enthusiasm. The chief guest and Industries Minister Babulal Gaur and guest of honour Bro. Joy Joseph, Chairman, Brothers of St Gabriel, were given a warm welcome.
THE INVESTITURE ceremony at St Montfort School was held on July 19 with great enthusiasm. The chief guest and Industries Minister Babulal Gaur and guest of honour Bro. Joy Joseph, Chairman, Brothers of St Gabriel, were given a warm welcome.
The ceremony began with a lighting of the lamp by the chief guest and singing of Vande Mataram by the school choir. The chief guest administered the oath to office-bearers of the school cabinet and the students took pledge to abide by rules, regulations and good traditions of the school.
Gaur, in his speech, highlighted the importance of universal brotherhood and the need to lead a disciplines life to make the country great and strong.
As a mark of appreciation, the chief guest granted a sum of Rs 5,000 to the School. Arun Mathew and Samridhi Sharma were elected as head boy and head girl respectively.
The other members of the cabinet are Yaman Thakur (Sports Secretary), Meril Mathew (Literary Secretary), Ashish Shaji (Cultural Secretary), Akshay Singh (Lily House Captain), Amrita Singh (Lily House Vice-Captain), Laukik Khopkar (Rose House Captain), Rajshree
Khare (Rose House Vice Captain), Mayank Jain (Lotus House Captain), Valentina Prasad (Lotus House Vice-Captain). The ceremony concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
