"The confessional statement which Telgi is recording is only limited to the 1995 case registered in Mumbai," his lawyer Milind Pawar told a news agency.
Pawar further added, "However, the Bund Garden fake stamp case is much bigger and a recent one compared to that being heard by the Special Court in Mumbai and therefore he (Telgi) wants to make a separate and detailed confessional statement in the case, exposing the role of all those connected with it," .
Telgi because of his indisposition was unable to complete his confessional statement relating to a fake stamp seizure case of 1995 in Mumbai.
Telgi in his two days of inconclusive confession before Pune's Chief Judicial Magistrate DW Modak, recorded around 83 pages of statement on February 6 and 7 last.
However, on February 8 he had to be admitted to the Sassoon General Hospital after he complained of chest pain and his confession, which was expected to get over that day, remains inconclusive.
Telgi is now scheduled to be produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate on February 13 so as to allow him to complete his confession, which was being recorded in Pune at the direction of the Mumbai special court.
