Starlet Jumani's ex-secy held for vulgar SMSes

Model and Bollywood starlet Nandini Jumani has been arrested for allegedly sending vulgar SMSes to her.

A freelance journalist who earlier worked as personal secretary to model and Bollywood starlet Nandini Jumani has been arrested for allegedly sending vulgar SMSes to her and making lewd remarks, police said on Friday.

Flynn Remedios was arrested on Thursday evening from his suburban Andheri residence after Jumani filed a complaint, the investigating officer said.

The 34-year-old used to handle publicity for Jumani and had been allegedly making passes at her for the last two months following termination of their contract, police said.

Remedios, booked under IPC Sections 354 (assault or criminal force outraging a woman's modesty) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) outraging woman's modesty), would be produced before a local court on Friday.
