In 2003 he had committed a murder in Rewa district. Two cases were registered against him at Dhumanganj police station, one at Lalapur police station, where he was wanted under the Goonda Act and another under Section 120 B under Kotwali police station. He was on the run since long and had been hiding at several places between the two states to avoid arrest.
The miscreant also used to harbour criminals. One Banda Badshah, who was killed by the cops following an encounter, was his associate. Another miscreant Surendra Singh Jat who was earlier arrested from Dhumanganj police area along with a looted mobike and is still in jail was also his aide. The miscreants son Sidharth and a brother were also involved in some cases along with him.
The arrest came when Krishna Murari was waiting to board a three wheeler near the boys’ hostel.
Dies: A resident of Balughat Babu Prajapati 35 sustained fatal burn injuries last night after a kerosene stove burst suddenly during cooking. He succumbed to his injuries this afternoon.
Meanwhile, in another incident Chiddu 18, resident of Gausmalpur under Mohabbatpurpainsa police station was admitted to SRN hospital with burn injuries after the stove he was trying to light burst during the process. He was rushed to the SRN hospital.
Kid dies in accident: Naini residents blocked the road near Dey's medical stores this afternoon following the death of an eight-year-old boy Ashish who was mowed down by a speeding mini bus. They were demanding a compensation of five lakh. The boy was crossing the road when the accident took place. Son of a labourer from Siwan in Bihar, the boy’s father works in a private factory. The dharna was lifted following assurance by the CO for compensation.
