Disturbed over her performance during the exam, a science student of Women College BHU on Thursday allegedly committed suicide in the college bathroom while the paper was under way.21-year-old Shitlanjali, a resident of Hukulganj area of the city, went to the toilet and hanged herself from the water supply pipe with the help of her belt.When she did not return, the lady attendant on duty raised alarm. The door of the bathroom was broke open and the girl was found hanging, Circle Officer of police of the Bhelupur area Ashutosh Mishra said, adding she was appearing for a B.Sc paper on Thursday.

Durga Prasad, father of the girl, told police that she was a BSc III year student and was depressed as she could not pass her degree in last five years.
