Student killed, 3 injured in accident

A first standard student was killed and three members of the family were injured when a tipper lorry hit a stationary bike at Mamood at Changanacherry Vazoor road here, police said today.

Indrajith (six), student of Rajiv Gandhi central school, Mamood, was the deceased and the injured were his father Murukan Achary (33), mother Rathimol (30) and younger sister Meenakshi (four).

They were about to alight from the bike when the lorry, proceeding to Karukachal, hit the bike last evening. The injured were given treatment at a private hospital.
