IPEM counsellors Anupam Lal, Shoumi Dutta, Tanisha Kapoor and Anamika Tiwari made students aware of self-assessment in terms of aptitude, interests and external resources before opting for a suitable career. They highlighted some points that students must keep in mind while planning their careers.
Wing commander Job D Madapat, station education officer, Air Force Station Bamrauli, presided over the workshop.
The workshop was also attended by parents, principals, officers and teachers who play an important role in shaping the careers of students.
The workshop provided the students and their parents a platform to openly discuss various issues relating to choice of careers.
Students were guided on career options like medicine, engineering, biotechnology, armed forces, hotel management and tourism, mass media etc.
