Sugar prices move up, Moong dal down

Prices of sugar went up while Moong dal declined, rest all commdities rates remained unaltered in the wholesale foodgrains market today.

Sugar further advanced by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 4,050 from Rs 4,000.

Moong dal moves down by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 8,000 from Rs 8,100.

Thoor dal, urad dal, gram dal, wheat, maida and Sooji rates unchanged from their Thursday's level.

Following are today rates per quintal: thoor dal Rs 8,000, urad dal Rs 7,000, moong dal Rs 8,000, gram dal Rs 2,800, sugar Rs 4,050, wheat Rs 2,000, maida (90 kgs) Rs 1,850 and sooji (90 kgs) Rs 1,900.
