Suicide: Cops don?t take note

DESPITE HOLDING schoolmates and school authorities responsible in his suicide note for not helping him and ignoring his grievances, Mahanagar police did not initiate any action in the case of 14-year-old Tushar Dwivedi who ended his life at his residence on Friday.

Tushar, a class IX student of St Fidelis School, had stated in the suicide note that he was taking the extreme step after being fed up of his schoolmates calling him chhakka (sissy). He had further stated that he had lodged complaint with the school principal and the head boy of the school but neither had intervened in the matter.
