This is the story of four-strong willed women in rural Rajasthan who set out to fight the upper caste men in their village who want everything for themselves including control over water. These gritty women dig deep enough to reach a source of water but have to pay a heavy price for it. The film is reminiscent of Hussein's struggle at Karbala, Iraq where much of his army died of thirst.
