What changes have been effected in the examination section?
We have planned the development in two phases. In the first phase issue of admit cards, attendance sheets and award list has been computerised. This has reduced the chances of error and as a result also reduced to almost nil the number of incomplete results.
What steps are being taken to assist the students in getting the documents?
We have plans to computerise the entire examination section. The computers installed on the counters will be inter-linked through Local Area Network and all the information regarding the student will be available on each and every computer very soon at a click of the mouse. This will eliminate the complicated and time taking procedures followed by the section at present in issuing the documents demanded by the candidates.
How will you increase the efficiency of the employees of the department? With the computerisation of the department, the time consumption and chances of error will be reduced. We will be organising computer training programmes for employees and in future will appoint only computer literate staff. The department plans to change its looks too by bringing in modern furniture, putting a fresh coat of paint on the walls besides procuring office automation equipment which would definitely help in improving the efficiency of the employees.
