Here are a few pointers to how to be a better manager. Be present: Visibility is a big factor. So, keep tabs on what’s happening around and ask relevant question.

Take inputs: Instead of taking singular decisions, constantly take inputs from your co-workers. Implement the important ones and thank the employees for their useful suggestions.

Errors do happen: Making mistakes is not a crime or below your dignity. People will lose confidence in you if they think that you are not taking responsibility for your bloomers.

Do it yourself: Don’t ask your colleagues to do anything that you wouldn’t do yourself. Give it your best: Your team is your baby. The more you give them, the more you can expect from them. The objective is to create a team that delivers. Remember, what is great for your company is great for you too.
