Teacher held for raping 14-year-old

Police have arrested a 22-year-old on charges of rape and sexually exploiting a 14-year-old girl on Monday. The girl used to take tuitions at his private coaching centre in Shalimar Garden area of Ghaziabad.

Police have arrested a 22-year-old on charges of rape and sexually exploiting a 14-year-old girl on Monday. The girl used to take tuitions at his private coaching centre in Shalimar Garden area of Ghaziabad.

"Her family has alleged that Danish Kumar blackmailed the minor after sexually exploiting her and also pressurised her into stealing valuables. She has been sent for medical examination," said Assistant Superintendent of Police Amit Verma.

But Kumar's mother denied these allegations and said that a compromise had been reached between the two families and Rs2 lakh had been paid to the girl's family for the valuables.

Her family has also alleged that Kumar had also made MMS of the girl. But police said no objectionable material was recovered from his laptop.
