MEMBERS OF UP Intermediate Teachers’ Association staged a dharna at district inspector of school office demanding to regularise the services of adhoc teachers.
They also demanded to start the promotion process of the teachers in different grades. MLC Dr YD Singh condemned the apathetic attitude of officials in addressing the problems faced by the teachers’ community. He said that district inspector of school and joint director were harassing the teachers by their arbitrary attitude.
Dr Singh assured that he would raise the issue in assembly and discuss the attitude of joint director education with state president of the association and MLC Dr Om Prakash Sharma.
Teachers community leader Markandey Singh has strongly condemned the insensitive attitude of the officials. He warned that if all the demands of teachers were not resolved by December 5, the association would launch a decisive battle against the officials.
State working committee members Shri Nath Dixit, Raj Kishor Mishra, Ramesh Chandra, Ravi Pratap Shahi and others also shared their views on the occasion.
