Dozens of protestors clashed with riot police and hurled bricks or set fire to tyres in Kathmandu while chanting, "We don't want a murderer government. You can't kill people!"
They were protesting against local government polls ordered by the king — who seized power last year — and the killing by soldiers of another protester during Wednesday's polling, which saw a low turnout.
