Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao directed the state chief secretary on Tuesday to make arrangements for unfurling the flag at the Bathukamma Ghat of the Hussain Sagar Lake, a release from his office said.
Noting that there is a national flag at Ranchi, which stands tall at 293 feet, Rao said the flag here should be at a height of 301 feet.
The chief minister said the proposed flag would promote nationalism among citizens.
