Terrorists ambush Army convoy in J&K

The convoy, on its way to Jammu, was attacked by terrorists at Khannabal forcing the troops to retaliate.

Terrorists ambushed an Army convoy on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway on Sunday morning, but there was no report of any loss of life, a defence spokesman said.

The convoy, on its way to Jammu, was attacked by terrorists at Khannabal, 45 kms from here in Anantnag district, forcing the troops to retaliate, the spokesman said.

However, there was no report of any loss of life so far, the spokesman said.

No terror outfit claimed responsibility for the attack.
