The stylish left-hander comes into the team as a replacement for captain Sourav Ganguly who has been ruled out of the series decider after undergoing a minor surgery for an abcess in his left thigh.

Yuvraj Singh, who has established himself at the crucial number six slot in the shorter version of the game, said he would not curb his natural stroke play in Tests.

"I will not need to change the basic nature of my game, but I will adapt as the situation demands," the Punjab batsman said.

Yuvraj Singh, who hit the headlines as a junior cricketer when he scored a 358 in the under-19 domestic championship in 1998-99 and played a key role in India winning the Under-19 Worl d Cup in Sri Lanka the following season, said tomorrow's match was a 'godsend' opportunity for his Test debut.

"I have worked hard for this day and I treat it as a godsend opportunity. I will try to meet the team expectations," he said.

"The feeling is yet to sink in, it is one of the happiest days of my life."
