Thailand firm conducts campus selection in BU

A THAILAND-BASED company – Charoen Pokhphand Private Limited - conducted campus interviews for students of the Department of Applied Aquaculture, Barkatullah University.

The interviews were conducted by two senior personnel of the company including Assistant Vice-president Wirat Phothiphan and General Manager (Human Resource and Administration) Abdunloh Lerdariyapongkun. The students were interviewed on Tuesday but the company would announce the final selection and emoluments package after it completes another round of interviews in other parts of the country, head of the Department of Applied Aquaculture, Dr T A Qureshi said.

Charoen Pokhphand is a champion in the production of formulated feed for finfish and shellfish, which is famous worldwide as CP Feed. The company is also into the production of seed and table size finfish and shellfish and has a network in 20 countries.

Dr Qureshi has said that the Department of Applied Aquaculture is the only in India that imparts teaching and training exclusively in fisheries and provides a degree in Master of Fisheries Science (M F Sc) in Applied Aquaculture.
Those selected may be posted in India or abroad.
