Apropos of the editorial Stop the hate crime (December 31), the mindless attacks on churches in Orissa should be condemned. It is sad that after 60 years of Independence, we have converted ourselves from true Indians to lunatic crabs, always trying to belittle other religions.

A heinous act
With the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, elections in Pakistan have become a distant dream. Pakistan now stands at the crossroads and it will be a nightmare for the world if Pakistan’s nukes get into the hands of mullahs who portray a wrong picture of Islam.
