The issue of global warming has sparked off a new debate which is no longer confined to the political domain. It has crossed all boundaries and concerns the human race. Owing to greenhouse gas emissions, the carbon dioxide percentage has increased at an alarming rate and engulfed the planet. Since developed nations are the largest contributors to climate change, the onus falls on them to bear the bulk of the economic burden for the same. They should provide assistance to developing nations through better technologies and funds. The global warming threat requires an urgent global response to bring about effective change.

There are too many people who deny that global warming exists. They chose to call the anti-emissions movement a global swindle and hoax. Developed nations deny the consensus about the most critical issue of our time and the grave threat our planet faces. Now, it’s time for action. We are running out of time.
