The names of former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah, former Tamil Nadu governor Fathima Beevi and veteran Parliamentarian Era Sezhiyan are doing the rounds on Sunday as possible nominees of the newly formed third front's presidential nominee.

The meeting of the front comprising eight regional parties to be held in Chennai on Monday would consider putting up its own nominee for the presidential poll and these names are being quoted as possible candidates.

The leaders of the parties -- TDP, Samajwadi party, INLD, Jharkand Vikas Morcha, MDMK, AGP and Kerala Congress (T), would start arriving in Chennai from late Sunday for the meeting, hosted by the AIADMK. The meeting would begin around noon.

The front is weighing three options of putting up its own candidate, supporting Vice-President Bairon Singh Sekhawat and abstaining from the poll.

It had already ruled out suppporting the UPA-Left nominee Pratibha Patil.
