Threat to blow up local court in Mumbai turns out to be hoax

The threatening call to blow up the local court in Mumbai has been declared to be a hoax after the premises were thoroughly searched.

An unidentified person on Wednesday called up the police threatening to blow up a local court in south Mumbai, police said.

A thorough search was conducted of the premises following which the threat was declared to be a hoax.

The person called the main control room and threatened to blow up the eighth court in the small causes court near the commissionerate, police said.
