The swine flu death toll in the state climbed to 91 with three more people succumbing to H1N1 infection, health officials said on Sunday.

Mukesh Upadhyay (46) died due to swine flu at a hospital in Vadodara, they said.

According to sources, Upadhyay, a resident of Gorva area in the Vadodara city was admitted to the hospital on Friday last in a critical condition.

Alka Rajendrabhai (32) and Ranjan Thakore (24) succumbed to H1N1 virus at two different hospitals here yesterday, officials added.

Officials further said that 13 more people have tested positive for swine flu virus taking the total number of cases reported from the state to 588.

The 13 new H1N1 infection cases have been reported from Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Kheda, Vadodara and Surat districts.
