Three Naxals arrested by security forces

Three hardcore Naxals, including one with over 50 police cases against him, were arrested by CRPF personnel in West Midnapore.

Official sources said the CRPF arrested Lochan Sardar, Sukumar Sardar and Deenbandhu Sardar based on a specific tip off.

They said the trio belonged to the Bel Pahari 'platoon' of the Naxals operating here. Lochan had over 50 cases, including a murder charge, against him.

Sources said they were arrested from Kodukoda village in the area and were being questioned by the local police and the CRPF.
