Three sentenced to life in murder case
A father-son duo was among three persons sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court in Badaun in connection with an attempt to murder case.

A father-son duo was among three persons sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court in Badaun on Saturday in connection with an attempt to murder case.
Additional District Judge Rameshwar also imposed a fine of Rs 3000 each on the convicts Jhau Singh, his son Sunil and his associate Vijay Pal.
According to the prosecution, Jhau, Sunil and Vijay forcibly entered the house of one Lala Ram on December 13, 2002 and attacked him and his family.
When Lala Ram and his kin attempted to flee from the spot, the accused opened fire in which one Gopal was seriously injured.
Badaun district is 150 kms from state capital Lucknow.
