Tight security arrangements have been made for the sixth one day international against Sri Lanka on November 9 here as the authorities are not taking any chance since the last ODI here had to be abandoned due to crowd misbehaviour.

More than 1000 policemen would be deployed and about 100 personnel would be watching viewers activities during the match, Police Commissioner K Nityanandam said.
CCTV cameras have also been placed at different places at the stadium and sniffer dog and bomb disposal experts have been kept ready, he said.
"The last match between India and West Indies had to be abandoned due to crowd misbehaviour and keeping in mind this incident the authorities have this time decided not to allow any bottle or container except mobile phones," District Collector, Mona Khandhar said.
A giant screen of 20x18 has also been installed at the stadium, Saurashtra Cricket Association Honarary Secretary Niranjan Shah said.
The match is also covered by the Oriental Insurance Company under the policy of Rs 2.5 crore, Shah added.
