TN ministers discuss tsunami relief in Cuddalore

A large number of the tsunami victims handed over their petitions demanding assistance to the ministers.

Tamil Nadu Ministers Ponnaiyan and CV Shanmugham on Thursday discussed with collector Gagandeep Singh Bedi the damage caused by the tsunami strike in Cuddalore district and assessed relief and rehabilitation measures.

A large number of the tsunami victims handed over their petitions demanding assistance, to the ministers.

R Elumalai, President, Fishermen village panchayat, Sonankuppam, told reporters that the ministers received all the petitions and assured that finance and other assistance would be provided to all the affected people soon.
