One actor, who is unapologetically confident when it comes to doing steamy scenes with his leading ladies on-screen, redefines the meaning of love.
According to Kissing King Emraan Hashmi, raunchy romps have become the latest trend of portraying love. "Sending love letters via pigeons and giving flowers to your beloved is now passé. Our ancestors used to do all this. But in today's age, this kind of old-fashioned presentation is just not enough. Today's generation demands something more fresh, like the scenes my films usually carry," explains Hashmi.
The actor, who debuted his actingcareer with Murder and then shot to fame after doing a series of lip-locking scenes, says, "The best part of my films is that everything looks so natural in them. Sex is a necessary element in my films but it is portrayed so beautifully that they look subtle and suit the script's demand. My movies, like Murder, Jawani Diwani or any other, don't look vulgar but aresensuous because they are portraying love and romance in a more realistic manner. There cannot be a better way to portray intimate shots. Sex is an unavoidable element in romantic films as it represents love."
On being asked about the rumours linking him with hottie Celina Jaitley (his co-star in Jawani Diwani), the self-proclaimed serial kisser has this to offer: Things are working out between us. I didn't receive much appreciation for the film (Jawani Diwani) but of course the audience has liked our pairing. But on the flip side, whenever I do some hot shots with any actress, I get linked. I don't understand how this rumour is doing the rounds. If Celina and I share great chemistry on-screen, it doesn't mean that we are into a relation. Moreover, every one is aware that I have a girlfriend and have quit any more kissing scenes so how can I even think of seeing other women?
