Representatives of the Nadra Bus Stand Bachao Sangharsha Samiti said shifting of the Nadra Bus stand in the old City was causing severe inconveniences to passengers and heavy losses to traders.
They said the district administration was not willing to do anything about the matter despite several discussions. They said if the bus stand was not relocated back to the Old City they would start a dharna and agitation.
Those who have issued the warning include Sawarna Samaj Party president Archana Shrivastava, other office-bearers of the party, spokesman of the Akhil Bharatiya Vyapar Mandal Anupam Agrawal, Readymade Hosiery and Wholesale Traders Association coordinator Rakesh Agrawal, Bus Stand Traders’ Association representative Raju Jain, Rameshwar Rathod, Vishnu Gupta, Ramnarayan Kuaria, Shantibai Ahirwar and others.
