One coach of an EMU local derailed near Bamongachi station in Sealdah-Bongaon section on Tuesday disrupting train services in the busy route.
The coach of the Sealdah-bound train derailed at 11.35 am, but there was no news of any casualty, Eastern Railway sources said.
Railway officials have rushed to the spot, the sources said.
Trains were operating between Barasat and Sealdah at present, the sources added.
