Veteran theatre and film personality, Girish Karnad, has called

Slumdog Millionaire

the worst film he has ever seen.

“I have never seen anything worse than Slumdog Millionaire,” the Padma Bhusan recipient said, adding that India’s hunger for Oscars showed “our own inferiority complex”.
