Travel agent held for molesting foreign tourist

A travel agent was on Monday arrested for allegedly molesting a British tourist in a local hotel, police said. Raj Kumar, the travel agent, offered help to Janiska, a tourist from England, in getting an accommodation on Sunday and served liquor to her in the room, they said.

Raj Kumar, the travel agent, offered help to Janiska, a tourist from England, in getting an accommodation on Sunday and served liquor to her in the room, they said.

He allegedly tried to molest her when she was in an inebriated condition, they said, adding Kumar escaped when the girl raised an alarm.

Kumar was arrested on Monday, they said.

The medical examination of the girl has been conducted report of which is awaited, they said.
