Two 11/7 blast suspects arrested in J&K

A special team of the Mumbai police have been conducting raids in different parts of Kupwara on some tip off.

Police on Friday, arrested two people from north Kashmir''s Kupwara district, suspected to be involved in the July 11 serial bombings in Mumbai that claimed at least 200 lives.

A senior police official in Srinagar, said a special team of the Mumbai police had been conducting raids in different parts of Kupwara since last week on specific information about the involvement of the two suspects in the terror attacks on trains.

He said Ghulam Muhammad Mir and Abdul Ahad Khan were both residents of Kupwara district and would be produced in a local court on Saturday for their transit remand before shifting them to Mumbai for custodial interrogation.
