Two-day Iqbal Quiz begins today
THE EIGHTH ?Iqbal Quiz? focussing on philosophy, writing and personality of world-renowned poet Allama Iqbal is being organised on December 8 and 9 by the Allama Iqbal Adabi Markaz of the Madhya Pradesh Sahitya Academy at the Mulla Ramoozi Sanskriti Bhawan. The programme is aimed at making the young generation aware about the great poet.
THE EIGHTH ‘Iqbal Quiz’ focussing on philosophy, writing and personality of world-renowned poet Allama Iqbal is being organised on December 8 and 9 by the Allama Iqbal Adabi Markaz of the Madhya Pradesh Sahitya Academy at the Mulla Ramoozi Sanskriti Bhawan. The programme is aimed at making the young generation aware about the great poet.
Sahitya Academy director Dr Devendra Deepak said the programme would start at 11 am on Friday. On December 8, Inter-school Iqbal quiz will be organised. Ishrat Quadri, Rasheed Anjum, Anees Sultan and Nusrat Mehdi will be the judges. Amir Mehboob and Firdaus Masroor will conduct the quiz.
On December 9, inter-college level quiz will be organised. Judges of the quiz are Professor Hasan Masood, Master Akhtar, Umar Ansari and Saeed Akhtar. Badr Vasti and Firdaus Masroorwill conduct the quiz.
Kirti Sood will present a musical programme based on Iqbal’s poetry. Teams from Aligarh, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur and Bhopal will take part in the quiz.
