Two injured in collision of ambulance, car on eway

Two persons were injured when an ambulance and a car collided in the service lane of Gurgaon Expressway on Friday evening. HT reports.

Two persons were injured when an ambulance and a car collided in the service lane of Gurgaon Expressway on Friday evening. The incident took place near sector 31 Chowk.

According to the police officials the incident took place when the ambulance was on its way toward Manesar. However, it was going on the wrong side and hit the Honda City car from the front. The ambulance driver and a girl who was in the car were injured in the incident. Though they suffered minor injuries and were rushed to the nearest hospital.

On the other hand police did not register any case till the report was filed.

According to a senior police official prime facie it seems that the incident took place due to the ambulance driver negligence which led the accident. Police is investigating the matter, said the official.

On Thursday also, a truck driver had died after he rammed his vehicle into a water tanker on expressway. In the incident two persons were also injured and were rushed to the nearest hospital.
