Two NDFB militants surrender in Assam

Two hardcore NDFB militants today surrendered along with arms and ammunition before the army in Assam's Sonitpur district, official sources said.

Two hardcore NDFB militants on Friday surrendered along with arms and ammunition before the army in Assam's Sonitpur district, official sources said.

The militants, self-styled corporal Jitendra Deuri and Lieutenant Umemdra Boro, surrendered at Thakurbari army camp before senior army officials.

The militants also deposited two AK-47 rifles, two magazines and 15 rounds of ammunitions.
