Two towns of Bharuch district have been declared cholera-hit after 16 cases were reported, district health authorities said.

Bharuch town and Jhagadia have been declared cholera hit. So far, 16 cases were diagnosed. "Cholera cases have come from Bharuch town, some villages and now Jhagadia town and a few villages," district Collector Arti Kanvar said.
Officials of Health Department have visited the villages and places from where cholera cases were detected and all precautionary measures were taken to prevent spread of the disease, she said.
