A There are some good tourist places to visit in Udaipur. Tourist attractions like Gulab Bagh and Lake Pichola too are worth a visit. Don’t forget to visit the zoo in Gulab Bagh, as it has lots to see. Also visit Lake Pichola, take a boat ride that will give you a glimpse of the Lake Palace Hotel situated right in the middle of Lake Pichola and also the Jag Mandir, which is situated on an island on Lake Pichola.

The best tourist attraction is the City Palace, which will nearly take about five-six hours of exploration, if you do it at leisure. There are trips organised outside Lake Pichola, which give you various packages like a boat ride to Jagmandir Palace, an hourly stay at the Palace and also other packages like a trip to Shiv Mahal Palace, etc.

The said trips are costly, but if you can afford them and have the time to spend, they are worth going for. As far as getting cabs are concerned, they are hard to find and you also can easily get auto rickshaws. The drivers are also very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous.

As far as other areas of sightseeing are concerned, do visit Sahelion Ki Bari and Fatehsagar Lake.
