ULFA blows up OIL pipeline in Assam

The ULFA on Friday blew up a portion of a pipeline of the Oil India Limited (OIL) in Assam's Dibrugarh district.

According to official sources at Dibrugarh, the terrorists blew up the pipeline by a powerful bomb at 6.20 pm at Salbari under Tingkhong police station.

Police and top OIL officials rushed to the spot.

The exact damage to the pipeline is yet to be assessed.
