An Indian committed suicide and another died of cardiac arrest after failing to find a job in the UAE.

Twenty-three year-old Shiju Raghavan, who had immigrated to the country to find a job, was found hanging in a room in a New Sanaiyah area building in Ajman on Tuesday evening.

According to his friends, Shiju took the extreme step as he was unable to find a job.

He was desperately looking for a job in order to provide a decent life to his family back in India. He is survived by old parents and a younger sister.

In another case, Madusoondanan Achari (42) from Kerala died of cardiac arrest at a labour camp in Dubai.

Achari had allegedly been duped by an agent who charged him hefty fee to find a job in Dubai. Unable to cope with the stress, he suffered a stroke and died.
