Your ranking has dipped to No 12 after a long time.
I've been playing for over 15 years and there have been ups and downs. Moreover, younger players have come up and I'm happy for that.

During the all-England Championship, Lin Dan said it was the last time the big-four (Lin, Lee Chong Wei, Peter Gade and you) were playing. Like Lin and Gade, are you planning to retire after the Olympics?
Wait and see.

What are your plans once you stop playing professionally?
One of them is to open a training facility named Taufik Hidayat Arena in Indonesia.

The All-England jinx is still there?
Ha, ha…try my luck next year if I'm not retiring.
