UP Board exam paper found tampered with

An FIR has been registered against an examination centre in-charge and two school teachers in Ballia after a question paper of the Uttar Pradesh Board's class 10 examinations scheduled for Monday was allegedly found tampered with.

District Inspector of Schools Brijnath Pandey said a surprise check was carried out at Nageshwari Devi Inter College on Saturday morning and the sealed packet containing Maths second paper of class 10 scheduled for Monday was found open.

A named FIR was later registered at Revti police station against the centre in-charge and two teachers and efforts were on to arrest them, he said.

Senior officials of the UP Board had been informed about the incident, Pandey said.
